On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Blairally hosts an Umphrey’s McGee After Party Show unlike anything Eugene has ever seen. Immediately following Umphrey’s McGee, three iconic musicians and guests come together for a rare and powerful collaboration under the name Willie Waldman Project—a true one-night-only experience.
At the center is Willie Waldman, renowned trumpeter, producer, and bandleader whose genre-bending career spans jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, and improvisational music. Waldman has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Cypress Hill, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, The Roots, and many more, earning a reputation as a fearless musical connector and innovator.
On bass is Norwood Fisher, the unmistakable groove architect of Fishbone. Fisher’s pioneering fusion of funk, punk, ska, metal, and soul helped shape alternative music as we know it. Beyond Fishbone, he has collaborated with artists such as George Clinton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tricky, and Sly & Robbie, bringing deep funk roots and fearless creativity to every stage he steps on.
Rounding out the lineup is Tony Austin, an explosive drummer known for his work across hip-hop, funk, rock, and experimental music. Austin has performed and recorded with Prince, Kamasi Washington, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Kendrick Lamar, and Ab-Soul, earning acclaim for his dynamic style and improvisational command.
Together, these musicians form a powerhouse ensemble blending deep grooves, high-level improvisation, virtuosic musicianship, and spontaneous collaboration. This Official Umphrey’s McGee After Party is not a typical late-night show—it’s a rare convergence of artists who rarely share the same stage, performing together in an intimate setting for one unforgettable night in Eugene, Oregon.
